Originally from Seoul, Korea, Joon Hee is a Canadian artist. After working extensively as art director in South Korea, she combined the passion for design with patisserie studies at Le Cordon Bleu of Ottawa. With various experience and skills as a designer and chef, she studied Ceramics at Sheridan College where she graduated with high honour. Her practice continued with MA Fine Art at Chelsea College of Arts in London U.K., where she received the Cecil Lewis Sculpture Scholarship. Her work is contemporary object of record and communication conveying persevering burden of human relationships, behaviours, and emotions, reflecting personal and mysterious aspects of life.
