Don McClennen’s primary medium is kiln-formed glass. He has been manipulating and melting glass into sculptural and functional pieces since 2000. A background in design, architecture, and education, and a lifelong interest in drawing and painting have evolved into colourful, textural, vitreous expressions. His inspiration and primary motivators are nature, and the continuous need to challenge the perceived limitations of glass, plus the desire to explore new techniques, themes and colour combinations.
