Gracia Isabel Gómez was born and raised in Mexico City. After years of working in design, publishing and exhibition planning she decided to study Ceramics at Sheridan College in 2013. Gracia draws inspiration from mythology and her dream world. Currently, the ceramic medium provides a perfect means of expressing the hybrid traditions of her country, and gaining an understanding of the way colonialism transforms cultures of all times.
