February 24, 2022 marked the beginning of the war in Ukraine, a day that changed everything and will never be forgotten. The brooch, a symbol of remembrance and solidarity, should be worn close to the heart, as a constant reminder of the sacrifices made by so many people of my country. Every Ukrainian has been deeply affected, with many losing their loved ones, homes, and livelihoods. The emotional scars of the conflict have left a hole in the hearts of the Ukrainian people, and healing will require not only justice and victory but also compassion and support.
