Tania Love is a Toronto-based artist who draws inspiration for her work from the natural and cultural environment. Exploring the intersection between traditional methods and innovative expressions, she creates textile pieces using plant-based inks and dyes. On foraging walks in and around Toronto, Love collects plants that are abundantly available to make small batch inks and dyes. Her hand-screen-printed images are based on her drawings of botanical and architectural references.
