Richard Bedwash (1936-2007), an Ojibwa artist from Long Lac Reserve near Thunder Bay, Ontario. He studied with elders in his community, as well as under Norval Morrisseau. Working in acrylic, he is known for his traditional paintings of birds, fish and other animals of Ojibway legend and lore.
