A major contributor to the Canadian pottery scene for over thirty years, Nancy Solway’s career has taken her from the countryside to the city of Toronto and from sculpture to functional pottery. In 1980 she co-founded Clay Design Studio Gallery in Toronto, still an artist-run urban landmark. She was a ceramics instructor at George Brown College for over twenty years and was a long time member of the Board of Directors of the Ontario Crafts Council.
