"This work is inspired by childhood trips to the ocean, and the fleeting connection to the natural world that is childhood. Children today are less connected to nature, and the destruction of nature is removing their opportunity to connect with it. This work blends our adult memories of our childhood with the reality of our experiences." - Rachael Speirs
