Amber Pollett is a fibre artist. She works with sustainable natural raw fibres felted into felted creations and art. Amber has been felting for over 14 years. In 2015 she took the leap and started working as an artist full time. Amber‘s company Amber Goes Violet was founded in 2015 to market her felted creations and art. Amber also incorporates up-cycling materials such as 2nd hand T-shirts, sweaters, beads, and buttons with new sustainable material, organic cotton, hemp, and wool in her work. She gets inspired from the Canadian wilderness so native birds, insects and flowers are key components in her designs.
