The M T Bar necklace is made from hand-knotted lapis lazuli beads. It features a pendant modeled after the macrophage immune cell, with a sterling silver hollow form filled with dark blue felt.

Sterling silver, lapis lazuli beads, needled felt.
Pendant is 3.2L x 1.5w cm, on a 44 cm long, lapis lazuli bead necklace.

Robin Cassady-Cain launched her jewellery collection in 2019, the culmination of three aspects of interest: goldsmithing, textiles and biology. 

Themes of the immune system have been created into sculptural jewellery pieces, including stem cells and mytometrical cells.

Robin's designs are informed by shape, line and texture and are mainly made in sterling silver and gold. The incorporation of precious and semi-precious gemstones and textiles, including felt, are ways that Robin adds a pop of colour to the designs!
