Her yellow and blue work is a blend of seemingly opposite emotions and ideas. Yellow symbolizes optimism and positivity, while blue symbolizes introspection and contemplation. By using these colors, she wants to convey to the viewer that these emotions and ideas are not mutually exclusive and can coexist within us. The combination of the two colors creates a unique harmony, just as our individual experiences and perspectives can come together to create a holistic understanding of the world.

Svetlana Turov is an emerging Canadian Artist based in Burlington, Ontario. Her primary medium is Fiber Fine Art.

Inspired by her family's traditions which were passed down through generations of women she also decided to dedicate her life to work with felt. It happened that her main teacher was her great-grandmother who showed Svetlana wet felting and explained the healthy advantages of this technique and materials. After a long while of investigations and research Svetlana decided to redevelop family traditions with contemporary materials and appearances. She has developed an amazing unique style, crafting pieces that bear resemblance to traditional paintings while possessing almost 3D surfaces. Beside that, Svetlana's works have the highest textile quality and durability.

Inspired by the wonders of the natural world, Svetlana's felt art reflects themes of impermanence, interconnectedness, and the cyclical nature of life. Whether capturing the beauty of autumn leaves or the vitality of rocks and minerals, each piece aims to evoke a sense of wonder and appreciation for the world around us. Through her art, the artist encourages viewers to contemplate their own relationship with the planet and its various processes. Her work celebrates the living objects of nature, showcasing the beauty and vitality of our shared world.
